About Me
Hi, I’m Mike Kirschbaum, a Las Vegas native with a deep passion for photography. My journey began when my mother gifted me a camera for my 16th birthday—a moment that sparked my love for capturing the world through a lens. As a tribute to her, I named my business after her birthday, August 11th.
I took a few college photography courses but quickly realized that the best lessons came from real-world experience. At 20, I landed my first job as a wedding photographer, and by 21, I transitioned into music, event, and commercial photography. Soon after, I took the leap into full-time freelancing, and I’ve never looked back.
Beyond photography, I love spending time with my family and my pup. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me working out—staying active and strong is something I’m passionate about, both physically and mentally.
