About me
Hi, I’m Mike Kirschbaum, a Las Vegas native with a deep passion for photography. My journey began when my mother gifted me a camera for my 16th birthday—a moment that sparked my love for capturing the world through a lens. As a tribute to her, I named my business after her birthday, August 11th.
I took a few college photography courses but quickly realized that the best lessons came from real-world experience. At 20, I landed my first job as a wedding photographer, and by 21, I transitioned into music, event, and commercial photography. Soon after, I took the leap into full-time freelancing, and I’ve never looked back.
Beyond photography, I love spending time with my family and my pup. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me working out—staying active s something I’m passionate about, both physically and mentally.
